Sprint 13: Jan – March 2025
Feature Enhancements
- Directory Embedding (without marketplace) – Now available without a business page requirement.
- Partner Member List Export – Partners can now download a list of members that matches the master list in the business page.
- Request Phrasing Updates – Edits made to phrasing on the Requests page and Home page for improved clarity.
- Job/Announcement Alerts Added to User Section – New alerts provide better user notifications and management.
Bug Fixes
- Event Changed to Promotion Issue – Resolved incorrect labeling of events when turned into promotion.
- Request Button Visibility Issue – Fixed cases where the button was hidden on homepages.
- Logo Upload Issue – Users can now save a logo to a profile without requiring a primary email.
- ZIP Code Profile Completion Issue – Fixed issue where profiles couldn’t be completed if the ZIP code was missing, even when the address was not required.
- Button Text Color Fix – Link/Icon color no longer controls button text color in posts.
- Repeated Businesses on Home Page – Fixed issue where businesses from page 2 were repeating on page 3.
- Map View Performance Issue – Resolved bugs causing errors when displaying a large number of businesses.
- Make a Request Button Not Showing – Fixed for logged-in users on specific sites.
- Front-End Export Button Removal – Removed unintended export button that allowed unintended access to member lists.
- Embedded Directory Business Export Alignment – Ensured report consistency between partner dashboard and exported business lists.
- Email Notifications Not Sending – Fixed issue where emails confirming business imports and declined business notifications were not being sent or logged correctly.
Other Improvements
- Text Alignment Fixes on About Page – Removed unnecessary photos and improved layout for better readability.
- Refresh Logo Update – Adjusted logo to correctly display “Member Marketplace” and bar.
- Workaround for Unconfirmed Business Profiles – Still exploring best solutions for cases where some businesses confirm profiles while others do not.
Sprint 12: Oct – Dec 2024
Feature Enhancements
- Messages on Business Accounts with Multiple Users – Adjustments made for smoother communication.
- Import History Tab – Added a new tab to review past imports and allow clearing.
- Jobs Listing Type – New listing type added with title, body, application link, and expiration date settings.
- Directory Sort Features – Enhancements for better sorting options.
- Business Registration Question – Now asks if the business is a current member of an organization.
- Dynamic Default Images Per Site – Allows customization of a default image if none is added.
- Past Opportunities Display – Past postings are now displayed below the bar to provide examples.
- Main Site Link Update – Now opens in a new tab for better navigation.
- Trigger Welcome Emails from Business Import – Automates welcome emails when businesses are imported.
- Mobile Menu Color Matching – Mobile menu now aligns with header colors.
- Icons for Business List and Map View Buttons – Improved visual navigation.
Bug Fixes
- Image Zoom Quality – Reduced blurriness to maintain clarity, especially for QR codes.
- Featured Businesses Display Issue – Fixed cases where businesses incorrectly appeared on home pages.
- Business Claim Process – Implemented a way for businesses to request a connection to an existing imported business.
- Duplicate Business Import Issue – Resolved cases where deleted duplicates remained visible.
- Business Address Requirement – Now allows businesses without an address to display properly in the directory.
- Email Font Size Consistency – Ensured uniformity in email text styling.
- Export Limitations – Now allows full-site exports instead of limiting to 50 businesses at a time.
- Expanded Image Format Support – Now allows more image types beyond JPG and PNG.
- YouTube Video Embedding Issue – Fixed cases where some videos were not embedding correctly.
- Home Page Error Message – Fixed embarrassing errors appearing on main pages.
- Incorrect Data in Active Listings – Resolved mismatches between listings and businesses.
- Invalid Permissions on Business Posts – Fixed access issues for business users.
- Request Page Layout Fix – Adjusted the third box to match the first two in height.
- Fix for Incorrect Partner Dashboard Stats – Ensured accurate reporting for listings and businesses.
- RTF Clicking Error – Fixed bug preventing users from clicking Rich Text Format fields.

Feature Enhancements
- New Keywords Entry Option – Added capability to create and manage keywords more effectively.
- Import Process Improvements – Streamlined import process for better efficiency.
- Sync Backoffice Business Updates – Ensuring updates sync correctly across systems.
- Announcements/Updates Listing Type – Added to Business Access/Dashboard, distinct from promotions/products.
- Email Notification Upon Business Addition – Businesses added from the Master App side now receive a ‘You’ve been added to X Marketplace’ email instead of a request email.
- Sponsor Module – Modularized add-on to feature sponsor logos with clickable links and tracked engagement.
- Social Media Link Tracking – Business profiles now track social media link clicks.
- Partner Admin Report by Member – New report feature added.
- Individual & Group Emailing from Admin – Now possible to send emails to individual users or groups directly from the admin dashboard.
- Analytics for Businesses – Improved analytics and reporting on business performance.
- Phone Number in Directory Listings – Now included as an optional field.
- Lightbox Image for Listings – Clicking on a listing image now enlarges it for better viewing.
- Column for Missing Keywords – Admins can now sort by businesses that haven’t added keywords for easier management.

- Visual Improvements – Updated main logos and linking structure for a cleaner interface.
- Fix for Business Name Search – Search now prioritizes business names over listing titles.
- Fix for Extra Space on Partner Dashboard – UI alignment adjusted.
- Staten Island Listing Bug – Resolved incorrect business results appearing in unrelated regions.
- Fix for ‘on listings’ Email Issue – Corrected outdated email phrasing.
- Bad Link Color in Emails – Adjusted color to ensure proper visibility.
- Fix for Admin Site Login Errors – Addressed errors encountered when clicking links while logged in as admin.
- Bug Fix: Partial Profile Saves – Businesses can now save incomplete profiles during setup instead of losing progress.

- Rich Text Formatting for Business Descriptions – Improved formatting options for business profiles.
- Video Support for Listings – Businesses can now add videos to their listings.
- Product Pricing Customization – Amount fields now work similarly to services, with custom unit options and fixed pricing.
- Show Eyeball for Passwords – Improved user experience during registration.
- Additional Buttons Per Post – Now supports two more call-to-action buttons.
- Smart Category Selection – Auto-suggests correct category as business users type.
- Business Positioning in Setup – Businesses now appear first in the setup user section for easier management.
- Site Businesses Export Feature – Admins can now export all businesses from a site.
- Accessibility Features – Improved accessibility across the platform.
- Sorting for Site Users – Defaults to most recent additions first.
- Business Switch Feature – Admin can now switch to their view as a business for easier management.
- Badge & Affiliation System – Allows filtering and sorting of businesses by specific affiliations or demographics, displaying badges on profiles.

- Event Date Fix – Resolved expiration date adjustments for events.
- Button Link to Business Profiles – Improved navigation for business listings.
- Improved Business Sign-up Process – Fixed phone field errors during registration.
- Precise Pricing for Promotions – Prevents rounding errors (e.g., $13.95 staying as entered instead of rounding to $14).
- Business Description Expansion – Increased the 300-word limit with a “Read More” option.
- Align Listing Heights on Main Page – Consistent listing display across different screen sizes.
- Contact Requests & Site Users List – Automatically sorts to the latest by default.
- UI Tweaks – Improved borders on listing tiles and other design elements.
