Our Background
Over the past several years, Member Marketplace, Inc. has built dozens of local marketplaces across the country – sites like Shop Iowa, California Shop Small, and Shop Oakland County Main Streets. Each one has been a celebration of local businesses and the communities that support them.
But as those marketplaces grew, something kept coming up. Our partners, local business organizations, and their member businesses began asking, “Do you have one site that brings us all together?“
That simple question sparked Small & Local Co™.
It’s our joint effort – a unifying marketplace that connects every local network we’ve built, while also opening the doors for any small business, anywhere, to join and share their business.
